MP visit

We were delighted to welcome local MP Liam Conlon to Glebe School last week. Mr Conlon was warmly welcomed by members of our Student Council who gave him a tour of the school, proudly showcasing our community and sharing insights into their daily life at Glebe.

Mr Conlon met students and popped into classes on his travels, and then joined a formal meeting with our Student Council where students asked some thought-provoking questions on a range of both local and national issues.

It was a fantastic opportunity for students to experience democratic engagement in action and for Mr Conlon to hear directly from our young people. He has promised to arrange a visit to Parliament for us very soon! We thank him for taking the time to visit and for his responses to some challenging questions.
