SMSC

What is SMSC?

SMSC stands for spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. All schools must show how well their pupils develop in SMSC. At Glebe we value how SMSC can intertwine every fabric of the school day to support the development of every student to create a rich tapestry of learning experiences. All subjects will focus on aspects of SMSC in lessons during the week, with specific topics predominantly covered in personal, social, health, citizenship education (PSHCE). SMSC is embedded in every part of school life from assembly time to the extra curricular lunchtime activity programme.
