DofE Royal recognition

We are delighted to share some wonderful news about our very own Mrs Francis, who was recently invited to attend a prestigious Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) Gold Award Celebration at Buckingham Palace.

As part of the DofE's 70th anniversary celebrations, a small number of leaders and coordinators from participating organisations across the country were invited to an afternoon reception at the palace, recognising the vital role they play in helping young people.

This special invitation was made in recognition of Mrs Francis's outstanding commitment to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme and the countless hours she has dedicated to supporting and inspiring our students here at Glebe, as they take on the challenges of the Award. Her dedication and enthusiasm have helped many young people develop confidence, resilience and valuable life skills.

We are delighted that her hard work has been recognised in this way and would like to congratulate Mrs Francis on this well-deserved honour!
