On the 24th June this year the school was visited by a team of external reviewers from Challenge Partners, a group that we invite in every year to carry out a collaborative peer to peer review of our school. Our visitors were a group of 3 reviewers made up of an Ofsted Inspector/ Headteacher and two Deputy Headteacher's from both special and mainstream schools.
After two rigorous days of observing teaching across the school, analysis of school planning/evaluation and meetings with school leaders I am absolutely delighted to report our visitors confirmed that Glebe is an ‘Outstanding’ school.
Challenge Partners is a collaborative network of over 350 schools nationally. It is a practitioner-led charity that enables collaboration between schools to enhance the life chances of all children. Schools in this network of excellence take part in annual quality assurance reviews in which they are supported and challenged to find collaborative solutions.
