9L's Creative Week
9L wanted to share some of the amazing work that they have been doing in both Art and PSHE this week. In Art they have been researching and sculpting their own gargoyles. Gargoyles are deliberately grotesque statues with a spout designed to convey water away from a roof and the side of a building, thereby helping prevent erosion. Take a look at their fantastic creations! Year 9 are also looking at Black History Month, and have been working on images of inspirational figures they think should be on first class stamps.
In PSHE, they have been working on making Calm Jars, layering multicoloured sand to create mesmerising patterns. They also did a bit of sand pouring and drawing, creating shapes and words in sand, only to be wiped away seconds later!
