Pupil Outcomes

Glebe School is very proud of our Year 11 leavers, they worked incredibly hard to achieve an excellent range of results across a wide range of accredited courses in the summer of 2020. This means that 100% of our students last year were able to secure places in further education, something that they have been working at since they arrived all that time ago when they joined Year 7.

  • Total GCSE and equivalent average 5.8 per candidate
  • Despite their lower starting points, girl’s exam outcomes are similar to boys
  • Attainment 8 score compares highly favourably with similar schools (ref 1.1)
  • Overall, 93% of students improved their reading age (ref 5.2)
  • 100% of all students made expected, or better, progress overall last year (ref 5.3)
  • All LAC students making expected or better than progress (ref 5.6)
  • Little difference between PP and non PP pupils (ref 5.7)
  • Destinations for students are tracked and monitored and currently 100% of leavers 2020 are in FE (ref 5.7)

Glebe students have also made progress in their personal development and have improved their communication skills, emotional well-being, social skills and creativity and problem solving. We have also started tracking student independence. The graphs will look similar to this:
