Pupil Outcomes
Glebe School is very proud of our Year 11 leavers, they worked incredibly hard to achieve an excellent range of results across a wide range of accredited courses in the summer of 2022. This means that 100% of our students last year were able to secure places in further education, which we have been working on since they joined in Year 7.
Headlines:
- 100% of our pupils achieved a qualification
- Higher number of entries into GCSE/BTEC & Entry Level qualifications
- There were 152 GCSE entries this year with a 95% pass rate compared to 102 entries last year with 94% pass rate
- This year we had a higher proportion of pupils gaining a higher number of GCSE’s and pupils for the first time achieving more than 6 GCSE’s
- Girls achieved 96% pass rate compared to 89% last year and a 95% pass rate for boys compared to 98% last year
- 100% pass rate for the group of pupils entered into GCSE English, Maths and Science
- 100% pass rate in the new GCSE Eng Lang exam with 33% gaining Grade 4 and 10% gaining a grade 4 in iGCSE
- In BTEC & other qualifications, we had 94 entries compared to 66 in 2021. We increased our Merit and Distinction awards by 50% and we also had 42% improvement in achieving a Pass at level 2 and 22% improvement in Merit Level 2
- There is little difference between PP and non PP pupils
- 88% of pupils improved their reading age
- Destinations for students are tracked and monitored and currently 100% of leavers 2022 are in Further Education
Sixth Form
- The sixth form have expanded their offer again this year and now offer 21 courses compared to 13 in 2021
- 128 entries with 96% pass rate compared to 93 entries with 89% in 2021
- 100% pass rate at Functional Skills English Level 2 this year compared to no entries last year. We had 80% pass rate at Level 1 compared to 83% in 2021
- 100% pass rate in Workskills, a new course
